Clan Langlands of that Ilk in Peebleshire, Scotland; they took their name from the lands which were chartered to them in 1364. The senior representative line became extinct in 1790.
Arms: Argent, on a chevron gules, three mullets of the first.
Crest: An anchor in pale placed in the sea proper.
Motto: Spero (I hope).
